MIKE OSBORNE: FLOATING ISLAND

The impetus for Floating Island was a residency awarded to Osborne by the Center for Land Use Interpretation (CLUI) in Wendover – a small town situated on the border between Nevada and Utah. We worked with Osborne to create a limited-run publication that was included as part of the exhibition.

Ballet Austin brought us in to imagine a campaign for the 2012/13 Season. Combining distinctive line work and typography with beautiful existing assets in simple yet compelling ways, we developed a visual framework that connected viewers with the art form in as immediate a way as possible.

BALLET AUSTIN iPHONE APP

We were thrilled at the opportunity to design and build Ballet Austin’s first ever foray into mobile: a native iOS app for the 2011/12 Season. The centerpiece of the project is an interactive season spread, taking advantage of every pixel the iPhone retina display has to offer. But the app also includes much, much more.

The Tri-Lamb group is a joint initiative between lamb producer organizations from the US, Australia and New Zealand aimed at enhancing the profitability and sustainability of the lamb market in the US. Driven by a clean, food mag aesthetic, we redesigned and rebuilt the website – and the brand – from the ground up.

Famous for their sprawling parties and incredible French bistro cuisine, Justine’s Brasserie is one of Austin’s most popular east-side haunts. Charged with delivering a website to entice, indulge, and even offend, we did our best to capture the spirit and the style of this incredible restaurant experience.
